Also known as Rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck.

Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedure. The choices include intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Your doctor will recommend the best choice for you. The procedure is generally performed as an outpatient surgery.

You will be monitored at a post-surgery room for a few hours and once the doctor feels that you are recovering well he will allow you to go home.
